Use precautions

The usage precautions relate to the use of alcohol, as well as essential oils (EO). They may seem obvious to you but are still important to mention. For example, a child may not necessarily behave like a reasonable adult. Thank you for your understanding if this is evident to you.

Do not drink
Keep out of reach of children
Keep the bottle tightly closed (if not sealed), away from light, heat, and air. These are the three enemies of your perfume. This will allow you to preserve it for a very long time. It will continue to improve in its bottle if you respect these conditions.
Keep away from any flame or source of sparks as alcohol is a highly flammable product.
Test the perfume with a few drops on the skin (e.g., inside of the elbow) to check for any contact allergies.
Do not spray near the eyes or around the eyes. Avoid spraying directly on mucous membranes, mouth, nose, ear.
Prefer to also perfume your accessories such as scarves (ideally linen or cotton), clothes to keep your perfume longer during the day. Contact with the skin accelerates the evaporation process of alcohol, and the EOs will be released much faster. By perfuming both your neck, wrists, and your scarf or another clothing accessory, you will enjoy your perfume for a long time.
Regarding the use of sprays to deodorize toilets, 1 to 2 sprays will be enough for the molecules to be suspended in the air. Avoid directly inhaling the nebulized product. It is intended to neutralize odors, not to perfume you.
Regarding the use of car deodorizers. Charge the cotton wick once when you enter the cabin and enjoy the ambient fragrance for long hours. Ventilation and ambient heat will distribute the fragrance. Avoid charging the cotton wick for a 5-minute drive as you will perfume the cabin for nothing. The temperature of your car in summer will dry out the wick and cause the perfume to evaporate excessively. If the wick is no longer permeable and flexible enough to absorb the scented liquid, replace it with a new one.

Even though the essential oils (EOs) in your perfume are highly diluted in alcohol and not pure, avoid perfuming your skin in areas that will be in direct contact with the sun during summer because some EOs are photosensitive and could cause slight spots or sunburn-like burns. EOs such as Angelica, Bergamot, Celery, Lemon, Lime, Khella, Lovage, Yellow Mandarin, Red Mandarin, Green Mandarin, Orange, Blood Orange, Grapefruit, Tagetes, Lemon Verbena. The application of these EOs containing furocoumarins can cause more or less severe skin reactions under sun exposure. Ideally, in summer, perfume yourself behind the neck, at the hairline, and the wrists, as these areas are the least exposed to the sun.
Although our perfumes contain highly diluted EOs and the following precautions relate to the use of pure EOs, we advise using a natural perfume very moderately for pregnant or breastfeeding women, children under 3 years old, and people with epilepsy or severe neurological disorders, due to the precautions that exist with ketone EOs such as Yarrow, Dill, Green Anise, Caraway, Atlas Cedar, Himalayan Cedar, Turmeric, Cryptone Eucalyptus, Globulus Eucalyptus, Menthol Eucalyptus, Hyssop, Lantana, Aspic Lavender, Field Mint, Peppermint, Spearmint, Camphor Rosemary, Verbenone Rosemary, Sage essential oil, Tagetes, Annual Tansy.
We can make a specific perfume for you during your pregnancy, for an epileptic person, for example, without this type of EO, as a precaution, upon request.
